You run the business. I'll handle the marketing and the tools.

For owners of established local service businesses. I do the work you've been putting off. Getting you found, making it easy to call you, building the tools and AI to keep up: whichever it is, I'll get it done.

20 minutes. I look at how customers find you and how the work gets done, and tell you what I'd fix first. No pressure to buy.

Matt HendersonYou talk to me, not a sales team.

2 of 5 monthly client places open

You've probably tried one of these.

Here's where each one tends to get stuck.

The agency

You pay every month. You often talk to a salesperson, not the person doing the work. The reports can be hard to read, and when you leave, you may keep nothing.

The specialist

Someone builds your website, or runs your ads, and moves on. Nobody looks at the whole thing: how you're found, how customers reach you, and how the work gets done after that.

Doing it yourself

You try it at night, after the real work. A post here, a boosted ad there, a spreadsheet that almost does the job. It's a second job on top of the one you already have.

I'm one person who does all of it, and you talk to me.

Here's what I do for you.

This is the work that gets put off when you're busy doing the real work. I do it, starting with whatever is holding you back most.

Marketing

I get you found

On Google Search, Maps and ChatGPT, where people look before they call anyone.

  • Listings
  • Reviews
  • Ads if they fit

Marketing

I make it easy to call you

When someone finds you, the next step should be plain.

  • A fast website
  • A page for each service
  • Inquiry forms

Operations

I build the tools and set up the AI

For when the work comes in faster than the paperwork.

  • Pricing and intake calculators
  • Client pages and team tools
  • AI set up for your business
  • AI concierge: your questions, answered
  • Help with what you're building

The monthly plan is $1,995. The one-time Growth Report is $297. See all prices

Before and after.

  • Before: Work comes from whoever passes your name along.

After: You're set up to be found when someone nearby searches for what you do.

  • Before: You don't know what a customer sees when they look you up.

After: You know what they see, and you get the numbers every month.

  • Before: Intake and paperwork get done by hand, after hours.

After: A tool built around how you work does the first pass.

  • Before: Marketing and tech are two more jobs on your plate.

After: One person looks after both. You get back to the work.

Trades · client website

Joel had no website. I built one in July 2026. In its first three weeks it brought in three estimate requests from people who found it on Google. JW Drywall is first on Google Maps for drywall contractors in Fergus (checked October 2026).

The GEM Finishing homepage, headed "Drywall taping and finishing that disappears under paint.", with a photo of Gary sanding taped seams.

Gary quotes every job himself, so I built his site around a photo-first estimate. He had tried twice to set up his Google business profile, and Google turned it down both times. I got it verified in August 2026.

A real tool, built for a financial planning firm and in use today. Their clients answer guided questions, the tool does the calculations, and the firm gets a brief to review. The firm is anonymous at its request, so the picture and the sample you can click through use made-up data.

I'm Matt, based in London, Ontario. I'm a software engineer. I worked in tech for eight years, including at Bloomberg. So I can build your site, your forms and your tools, not only advise on them. I take on a few at a time, and only ones I know I can help. You talk to me, not a sales team, and I'll tell you straight what's worth fixing first.

What it's like working with me.

Three steps. You always know the price before you say yes.

  1. We talk

A free 20-minute audit call. You tell me what you want more of and what's eating your time. I look at how customers find you and how the work gets done, and tell you what I'd fix first.

  2. We fix what's in the way

We start with the one thing holding you back most. You know the price before I start.

  3. We keep growing

One flat price a month. You tell me what matters next, and I do it. We talk every week, and every month you see the numbers.

The call works both ways. You see if I'm right for you, and I see if I can help. Nothing starts until we both say yes.

I don't work with just anyone.

Five clients at a time, so I choose them with care. Every business is vetted before I say yes. The first call is how we both find out.

A good fit

  • Your business is established, with steady work
  • You own the business and make the decisions
  • You do good work, and your customers say so
  • There's work on the business you keep putting off
  • You want to deal with one person, not an agency

Not a fit

  • You want a top spot on Google promised
  • You need it all fixed this week. This work builds month by month
  • You're just starting out
  • You want the cheapest option

Vetted and approvedEvery client I take on, before any work starts.

One monthly plan. One small first step.

The Growth Partner is how I work with owners: marketing and operations, for one price. Not ready for that? Start with the Growth Report. Need more or less than the plan? We sort that out on the audit call.

Marketing and operations

The Growth Partner

Month to month. Cancel any time.

$1,995 per month. The work you've been putting off, done. You tell me what matters most, I do it, and we move to the next thing. One price covers the whole menu.

One thing at a time. No add-ons, no hourly bills.See the service menu
  • Marketing: your Google profile, listings, reviews, website, pages and ads
  • Operations: tools built for your business, AI set up for you, and help with what you're building
  • A call with me every week
  • A short report every month

Client places

I take five monthly clients at a time, so each one gets real time from me. Two places are open.

A small first step

The Growth Report

$297 one time. A written report on the one thing holding you back most. On the audit call we pick which: how you're found, how customers reach you, or how you keep up with the work.

Join the Growth Partner and the $297 comes off your first month.

  • Being found: you against your top local competitors on Google Search, Maps and AI assistants
  • Being reached: what happens when a customer calls, books or sends an inquiry
  • Keeping up: what you do by hand, and where a tool or AI would help
  • A list of what to fix, in order, and a call to walk you through it

Websites, ads, custom tools and AI help aren't sold one by one. They're part of the Growth Partner.

Straight answers.

What the audit call is, what can and can't be promised, and what things cost.

Something I haven't covered?

Book a free audit call (opens in a new tab)
Can you promise me more customers?

No, and nobody honestly can. More customers are what the work aims at, and what I check every month. What I promise is that the work gets done, and that you see the numbers: views, calls and map clicks. If something isn't working, I'll tell you.

Do I have to pay for ads?

No. You can start without ads. The first work is the unpaid side: your Google profile, your website, your reviews and your listings. Ads can add to that. If you want them, I set them up and look after them, and you pay Google or Meta for the ads yourself. If I don't think ads are worth it for you yet, I'll say so.

Can you guarantee I'll show up in ChatGPT?

No, and nobody honestly can. ChatGPT and other AI assistants decide for themselves which businesses to name, their answers change from one question to the next, and they don't publish how they choose. What I can do is make your business easier for them to understand and check: a complete Business Profile, the same details everywhere you're listed, and clear pages about your services and area. That improves your chances. The same goes for Google rankings, the map, traffic and leads: no guarantees, and a website on its own doesn't decide whether an AI assistant recommends you.

What happens on the free audit call?

We talk for 20 minutes about your business, the area you serve and the work you want more of. I look at how customers find you, across Google Search, Maps and ChatGPT, and ask how inquiries, bookings and paperwork get done today. Then I tell you what I'd work on first and what it would cost. If I don't think I'm the right fit for you, I'll say so. There's no pressure to buy.

Why only five clients?

I'm one person, and each monthly client gets real time from me. Five is what I can do well. Right now two places are open.

Is the audit call really free?

Yes. There's no obligation, and you don't have to buy anything.

What is the Growth Report?

A one-time written report, $297, and a small first step if you're not ready for the monthly plan. On the audit call we pick the one thing to look at: how you're found, how customers reach you, or how you keep up with the work. I look into it, write up what I find, list what to fix in order, and walk you through it on a call. The free audit call is a quick look, out loud. The report is the full version, in writing. If you join the Growth Partner, the $297 comes off your first month.

What is the Growth Partner?

It's my monthly plan, $1,995 a month, month to month. One price covers the whole service menu, in two halves. Marketing is getting you found and making it easy to call you. Operations is the tools and AI that help you keep up. You tell me what matters most, I do it, and we move to the next thing. We talk every week. There are no add-ons and no hourly bills. The full menu is on the Growth Partner page.

Do I need a website to show up in Maps or ChatGPT?

Not always. When I asked AI assistants about one local service (drywall in London, Ontario), several businesses with no website were recommended, and many with websites weren't. Your Business Profile, reviews and listings matter a lot. A good website still helps: it gives Google and AI assistants clear, checkable information about what you do and where.

Can I hire you for one job, like a website?

The site only lists my monthly plan, because the work goes better when I stay on it. A new website, site fixes, ads and tools are all part of the Growth Partner, and you can stop any month. If you need something smaller, or one thing only, tell me on the audit call and I'll tell you straight what I can do.

I already have a website. Do I need a new one?

Often not. Most of the time I work on the site you have: speed, structure, local SEO and a clearer way to call, book or send an inquiry. If a new site would be better value, I'll say so and explain why. Either way it's part of the Growth Partner.

Can you help if my Business Profile is suspended or I can't get into it?

Yes. I can help with access, verification and recovery. I can't promise that a suspended profile will be reinstated.

Can you work with the tools I already use?

Yes. Inquiry forms, pages and tracking can be custom built or set up inside software you already use. We choose what fits how inquiries reach you.

Can you build a custom app or internal tool?

Yes. I'm a software engineer, and I build pricing and intake calculators, client portals and tools for teams. We start with the one job it has to do. It's part of the Growth Partner.

Can you set up ChatGPT or AI for my business?

Yes. I can set up ChatGPT or another AI assistant to know your business, or add AI to the tools you already use. We pick one job first. It's part of the Growth Partner, and so is AI concierge: you bring me your questions and ideas about AI.

Find out where you stand.
